The rooms at The French Theory
The rooms are charming and snug, adorned with creative inspirations from music, books, and poems displayed on shelves. As is typical for Parisian hotels, the rooms are compact yet functional. The spaciousness of the bathrooms particularly impressed me, along with the decor.
The service and Facilities
The receptionist, coffee shop staff, and cleaners were all incredibly kind and friendly. They catered to all my needs and even suggested some great restaurants in the area. Each person I encountered greeted me with a smile, making me feel welcome and at ease during my solo trip.
Despite housing a recording studio, French Theory, the boutique hotel, maintains a surprisingly serene atmosphere. The tranquility extends throughout the premises, with no disturbance from the recording lab in the basement. Guests are welcome to explore this area. It offers comfortable seating. Visitors can also find a selection of vinyl records. There’s even the option to enjoy some music. Adjacent to the reception, the concept store presents an array of items for purchase. These include books, magazines, and vinyl records. You can also find fashion pieces, mugs, and plants. Additionally, a winter garden nestled under a glass roof provides a charming retreat filled with purchasable plants. For those inclined, there’s also the opportunity to engage in a leisurely game of chess.

There is a coffee shop where guests and visitors can relax with a drink or enjoy a light lunch. I’ve had breakfast there a few times and have been consistently impressed with both the service and the food. Additionally, I found the prices to be quite reasonable for Paris.

BOOK A PHOTOSHOOT FOR YOUR PARIS TRIP
For first-time visitors to Paris, booking a photoshoot can be a fun and memorable highlight of your trip. On GetYourGuide, you can reserve a 30-minute slot with a professional photographer. The meeting point is predetermined. My experience was fantastic. The photographer knew the best spots to capture the Eiffel Tower in the background.
Cruise along the Seine River
Taking a one-hour cruise on the Seine River was one of the best experiences, offering stunning views of iconic landmarks. The tour is well organized, departing and returning on time to the same location from beginning to end. I booked the experience on GETYOURGUIDE Tickets can be quite affordable, starting from only £14.51 for a one-hour slot. Book your tickets HERE.
