Places to visit in the French Riviera

If you’re looking for places to visit in the French Riviera. Juan-Les-Pins is a hidden gem that needs to be on your list. Juan-Les-Pins has a laid back vibe. It is one of those pretty French towns you just can’t leave. Palm trees line the golden sand promenade. Boutique shops face the beach front along with independent restaurants and cafes.

Juan-Les-Pins is easy to reach by train. It’s a 30-minute train ride from Nice central station and only a short walk from Antibes.

Stay at Hotel Le Sud

I stayed in Juan-Les-Pins for 3 days while I was touring the South of France. I needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of Nice. Juan Les Pins was a perfect choice. It provided everything I needed to relax and all I heard was the sound of waves against the shore. As I took walks in the mornings and late evenings.

I checked into Hotel Le Sud. A stunning boutique hotel suited on a quiet residential road. It is only 5 minutes walk from the train station and 10-minute walk to the beach. Hotel Le Sud has 29 rooms, a bar, restaurant, and outdoor pool. The hotel was designed by architect Stéphanie Lizée. You’ll find beautiful designs inspired by artists like Picasso, Jean Cocteau, and Franck Lebraly.

Visit Antibes

A short walk from Juan-Les-Pins is the historic town of Antibes. known for its famous artists like Graham Greene, Max Ernst, and Picasso. There’s a Picasso museum dedicated to his artwork, it’s free entry. Antibes has several markets like the Provencal market, the farmers market, the craft market, flea market, and the stallholders market. Make sure to have a look around for some great bargains.

Why I loved Juan Les Pins

I’m happy I visited Juan-Les-Pins, a quaint town I never knew existed. My stay at Hotel Le Sud was just wonderful and so chilled. I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel. I loved how authentic the hotel was and the comfortable rooms. It was so quiet that I almost thought we were the only guests. The beach town was just as wonderful. The long beach strolls we did were so nice and the stunning views were surreal. I hope to return at this beautiful beach town and stay at Hotel Le Sud.
