How to Spend the Perfect Weekend in Bath
Bath, a city rich in English history, known for its stunning Georgian architecture, thermal spa and The roman baths. From the historic Bath Abbey, the Jane Austen Center to the Royal Crescent.
Bath has caught the attention of many directors with its picturesque setting for period dramas and films. Like the popular Netflix series Bridgerton is filmed in Bath. The series shows many of Bath’s iconic locations which you can explore on a Bridgerton filming location tour.

Bath is one of my favourite places to visit in England, and I make an annual visit every year. On my trip to Bath, I wanted to stay in a traditional townhouse. I booked a stay at Henrietta House. An 18th century townhouse located on a quiet street and a 2 minute walk from Putney Bridge.
Henrietta House has two buildings, offering tradition and boutique style rooms. The Georgian townhouse features 66 stylish rooms, some decorated with traditional designs and artwork. And other rooms are refurbished, offering morden and spacious rooms.
The townhouse features a trendy bar on the ground floor and a dining room only for breakfast meals. This was the only disadvantage of staying here, dinner is not served at the hotel. You’ll have to eat out which isn’t a problem as Bath has many great restaurants.
I had a relaxed stay at Henrietta House. I was satisfied with my room, it was clean and comfortable. The service was warm and welcoming. I would stay here again for its excellent location, and customer service.

The Royal Crescent stands as the most iconic landmark in all of Bath. Take a walk around the terraced houses encircling The Circus, which offer a window into the Georgian era. You can even have a picnic on the public lawn located at the front end of the Royal Crescent. Just be mindful and respectful of the residents who live in these townhouses.

Music and sounds from the series play as you are shown around each location. In between the music, the guide tells you interesting facts.
