Paris Hotels near Gare du Nord

Are you heading to Paris and looking for hotels within walking distance of Gare du Nord? I know some really good hotels in the 9th arrondissement. They are a short walk to Gare du Nord which is located in the 10th arrondissement.

Welcome to New Hotel Lafayette

Welcome to New Hotel Lafayette, a boutique hotel in the 9th arrondissement, just a 16-minute walk from Gare du Nord. Tucked away on a quiet street. It offers clean, cozy rooms with pops of color and thoughtful touches like slippers and luxury French NUXE bathroom products. The complimentary breakfast has a good variety of breakfast cereals, pastries, yogurt and more.

I’ve stayed at New Hotel Lafayette twice, and every stay has been wonderful. The customer service is top-notch, with a reception team that is always warm and welcoming. The location is perfect, within walking distance to shops and metro station Cadet. Montmartre is 20 minutes walk away. This is one of the main reason I return to this hotel because of its great location.

Stay at Parisian charm at Hotel Brittany Opera

This gorgeous hotel has so much character. I loved it the second I walked into the reception. It’s located in a lively area yet still promises a quiet stay. Hotel Brittany Opéra offers guests comfortable, clean rooms, along with a bar for drinks and a dining room for breakfast. It’s a 20-minute walk from Gare du Nord and just 5 minutes from the nearest metro.

Experience luxury decor at Leon Hotel

This chic new hotel in the 18th arrondissement was a pleasure to stay at, to say the least. A luxury, modern interior greets you as soon as you arrive. Léon Hotel is a little further from Gare du Nord—about a 25-minute walk—unlike New Hotel Lafayette and Hotel Brittany Opéra. Staying here means your within walking distance of Pigalle and Blanche stations. Montmartre and Moulin Rouge are just 5-minutes walk away. This hotel is farther from Gare du Nord, but is close to 2 metro stations.

Why you should book these hotels

When it comes to booking Paris hotels, location plays a key role. The 9th arrondissement is known for its local charm great cafes and authenticity. These hotels offer comfort, affordability and great locations. The rooms are clean, and run by some of the friendliest teams I’ve met in Paris. Being within walking distance of Gare du Nord makes a difference when you have an early morning train. But if you prefer to take the metro, you’re never far from one.

Hotels next to Gare du Nord

If you prefer to stay closer to Gare du Nord station Hotel Flanelles Paris is a great choice. This stunning hotel is opposite the station making it super convenient.

The Location

Both New Hotel Lafayette and Hotel Brittany are a few minutes away from Rue des Martyrs. It is a great street with boutique shops, bakeries, and cafés. Here, you’ll find locals simply going about their day. If you want to experience an authentic Parisian lifestyle, this is the street you’ll want to visit. It’s such a gem and one of my favourite spots in the 9th arrondissement. You are also walking distance to charming Montmartre in the 18th arrondissement.
